Stuck on dell logo

Hello,

I turn my computer on and the fan turns on normally, it loads the dell logo and beeps 1 time and then the fan shuts off and it's stuck on that screen. Until it eventually says Preparing Automatic Repair but never moves from this screen after?

You have a damaged Windows installation and perhaps a defective hard disk. I suggest you try to reinstall Windows from the DVD. If that is not successful then you should have a local PC repair shop do a diagnostic.
