My dell laptop does not turn on

hello guys,

I did not use my old laptop for a year, and now it does not turn on. My laptopo is Dell (Vostro 1500). When I plug in the charger, power light blink once, but it does not turn on. I also have changed the motherboard but the samething happens.
I have tried taking out battery and hold the button for 1 minute and it did not work.

I would appreciate any idea.

Hello Hamed,

Since you said that you have changed the motherboard I would suspect a hard drive failure. If you have the option I think you should test it on different location. I suggest you to take it out and try to connect via a SATA-USB cable. If the HDD doesn't spin at all then I guess it has failed mechanically and needs replacement.
