My laptop wont go past the acer screen!

Hello,
My husband just bought me a new aspire r11 acer laptop. I was only able to use it once. I tried turning the laptop on and it powers on normal but it wont go past the acer screen. Stays on the screen for like 30 seconds then it goes back to a black screen then acer again and this process just repeats. What do I do?? Its new and I cant return it its past the 15 day return limit.
