Hello Prakash,
Have you tried connecting it to another PC in order to see if it will work? If you haven't, I suggest you to try so and come back with the results of the test. Also, I would like to know what type of format has your external storage device? FAT32 or NTFS?
If you have the option, please put a printscreen of your Device manager with an extended list of the USB host controller details. Thank you.
