Hi sandee,
I would recommend you to check if the pendrive is visible in Disk Management. Does it appear with a file format and a drive letter? What options do you get when you right click the drive? Do you have important information on the pendrive and is formatting the drive an option?
If the pendrive is recognized in Device Manager, uninstall it, restart the PC and plug the device back in. I strongly recommend you to check the pendrive on another PC.
Hope this helps
