Suddenly my keyboard started typing garbled

Hello,

Suddenly my when I typed I got garbled unconnected characters on my Acer laptop. Restarted computer and now I can't type password. When I type sometimes two characters appear instead on one and sometimes it types by itself. Not sure if it's a keyboard thing or I'm being hacked.

Please please help.

Most likely a failing keyboard. I suggest you try an external USB keyboard.
