HP Envy crashes my internet

I have just bought a new HP Envy laptop [HP ENVY 13-d004na Laptop, Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 13.3], and every time I attempt to open the browser it crashes my router. I have not done much since i came home with it on Saturday except remove all the crapware that came with it, and then it developed this "fault" question is how do I reset it back to factory settings to see if that cures it

I have sussed how to do the factory restore and doing it now and the internet is working fine for my pc and other laptop but what could be causing it to crash my internet, the only thing I had installed was the firefox browser ???

Hello,
I use firefox. I know that my connection is fine, but my firefox screen is blank. The internet explorer screen won't work either - says unable to load page.
Can anybody help?

Hello,

I've had this problem for a while, i'll be playing my game for like a couple minutes and then it'll either freeze up and i'll have to close it with out saving, or it'll just close down on its own. I don't really download anything so it can't be because of that. i've tried almost everything. I can't uninstall and reinstall everything because I don't have all of my games any more so that would just suck. I have Windows 7, if that helps. help me please?

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 27.0.1453.116

Hello,

I have internet connection and all my other devices work fine except my PC laptop. Browser won't load any pages. I have made sure that the proxy was unchecked. I have also gone to command prompt and followed the resetlog.txt procedure.

After it, I restarted my computer. Did not get success! Also tried and run after typing resetlog.txt that leads to prompt saying "windows cannot find 'resetlog.txt".

In most of the forum, I was asked to follow resetlog.txt procedure. However, it is not helping me out.

Please help!
