Asus X551M won't turn on

Was using my Asus when it died. I charged it, held the power button basically did everything I could except pull the battery out since I would have to take the computer apart. The indicator lights for power and charge come on but no screen, no fan and non CD player sound. Any tips?

If the battery is not detachable without taking screws out, then the MB is bad. How long have you had it?
