Acer laptop stops working after being unplugged a while

                    Try leaving the laptop plugged in so it can fully charge the battery. It will need two to three hours.  
It's possible that you need a new battery.

Txn for helping me. However, I left it charged for more than a day. It's still not working. Besides, does it need battery to work when it's plugged to outlet. I thought when it's plugged to outlet it doesn't need battery to work. I may have stupid question. .

Perhaps this routine will work for you.
1. Remove the battery and unplug the charger
2. press and hold the power button for 30 seconds
3. install the battery and the charger cord
4. start as normal
