My earthlink acct seems to have replaced gmail acct on computer

Hello,

I thought I was linking my earthlink account to my gmail account but seems it replaced the gmail acct. on my computer anyway. Now I can sign on to gmail acct on my android phone but I can't figure out how to log on to my gmail acct. on my computer--- I only get option of creating a new gmail acct. What is going on?
