Hello,

I have a Dell Inspiron 15R 5521 and recently the computer started shutting down after being in sleep mode for awhile. Sometimes when I restart it I get a black screen that says "media failure" a few times and a message about rebooting--that one I haven't seen in awhile so I can't recall exactly what it says. This started while I still had Windows 8 and has continued since installing and then reinstalling Windows 10. Sometimes when I restart I get a blue screen that says "Recovery. It looks like Windows didn't load correctly." Any ideas how to solve this problem? One time when I turned it back on my keyboard wouldn't work. That was alarming! Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

media failure would indicate that you have a problem with the hard disk.

Thanks! I've been looking around for solutions and changing the boot sequence after hitting F12 is one of the recommendations I've found. Do you think this is more of a hard drive issue and that the boot sequence doesn't have anything to do with the problem? Thanks again!
