Hello, I have a new PB laptop, I switched it on and I want to create a new @live account, but the normal keyboard command buttons for @ wont work (shift + 2), even though @ appears right above the number 2.
I also tried Alt + 64 which was suggested but it didn't work.

Perhaps you have a mismatch between display language and keyboard language. You can go to the control panel and find the keyboard icon. There you can check to see if the language is set to English.
