Hello,
I cant wake up my external monitor that I have linked via a Targus docing station. This monitor has worked fine but for the last couple of days I cant wake it from power saver mode. I've check the VGA cable and it seems fine. I can send my cursor to the monitor as usual but still a black screen. What should I do?

You need to determine the cause of the problem.
First thing is to eliminate specific components:
Can you connect without the docking station?
I assume you checked the cable connections both to and from the docking station.
Can you test the monitor with a direct connection to another PC?
Good Luck
