Hi Vicky,
I am sorry for any inconveniency caused by your My Passport drive. Could you tell me if the drive is recognized in Device Manager? It should be listed under USB devices. Please check the drive on another PC and with another USB cable. Try using the following Command Prompt commands:
Diskpart
List disk
Can you see the drive listed there?
Are there any noises coming from the drive? If you have really important data stored on the drive, try using some data recovery software. I leave you some suggestions:
