External Hard Drive Problem

Hello, some of the folders and files are shown at the root folder of the external hard drive but most of them are not shown even i have marked show the hidden files and folders in the view option, kindly help me with it as soon as possible, waiting for your quick reply. thanks

Hi Haseeb azizi,

If the files seem hidden, I recommend you to open the Command Prompt and type the command:
attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*
Change the g letter with the drive letter of your hard drive. I strongly recommend you to test the external on another PC and with another USB cable. I recommend you to update your antivirus software and do a complete system scan.
