Toshiba Satellite Touchpad button not clicking

Hello,

My Toshiba Touchpad button will not "click". You have to double tap it. I prefer to click the left button. I believe all the settings are on. This is happening fairly often. It will be working one moment and then I will close the lid and it is off. Very annoying.

perhaps you need to use an external USB mouse. You might have a hardware problem that would require replacement of the entire keyboard surround.

Try to reconnect the touchpad cable?
Maybe you need to replace it ...
