Hi Naveenroy,
Is this the primary hard drive? I would recommend you to confirm that hard drive’s condition by testing it with the hard drive manufacturer’s diagnostic tool. If the drive seems OK, update your anti virus and the test the system. Sometimes performance issues may be caused by OS problems or corruptions and you solve all these by formatting the drive and reinstalling the OS. When the hanging problem appears, restart the PC and boot in Safe Mode. Does the issue persis?
