You can start by disconnecting any devices connected to the laptop.
1. load Aptio Setup screen and make sure that the hard drive is set as the first boot device.
2. you can also try loading the BIOS with its default by pressing F9 while your in Aptio setup screen.
3. you can try removing the hard drive from the laptop and see if it will get pass the Aptio setup screen because if it does that confirms that its the hard drive that is faulty.
