Gateway boot problem

Hello,
I have a gateway laptop. I cleaned it out and reset it to its factory settings now it won't boot up pasted the gateway sign it also say push f2 for setup. I have tried everything and gateway wants to charge me 400 to help me with it someone please help me.

You "cleaned it out"? Just exactly what did you do? A physical cleaning or deleting files from the computer?

Well I deleted files from the computer trying to set it back to factory. I did it before and had no problem with it but this time I guess I did something different. I was told that I have to reinstall windows to the computer.

Reinstall of Windows sounds like a good idea,

Well I gotta find a windows disc cheap or free. Thank you for the help.
