3 year old Acer Monitor No Display Flashing Power light

Hello, A day ago My Acer Monitor started to have problems were the power light would go on and off and there was nothing i could to to make it display, Sometimes for some reason after unplugging the power cord and plugging back it after a bunch of tries the monitor would work again. However when it decides to work seems to be completely random.

I was not able to get the VGA cord to work on my RCA TV however an HDMI cord worked and because my Monitor has no HDMI port I cannot truly test if its the monitor or the cord.

I am not sure if my RCA had the right "Source" Option, but i assume "PC" Would mean VGA

Nope, it would be whatever HDMI connection you made. Turn the tv on the right source, and reboot your machine. Then on your machine hit Windows Key + P. Choose the Duplicate method after that if it displays on the screen!
