Hi there Divine,
You have to check if the hard drive is seen by the BIOS. In order to do that, you must go to the BIOS settings by pressing the respective F key and under Boot menu, you must see the HDD. Is the HDD set as a first boot priority device? If it doesn't, you have to manually select it. Press F10 to save the option and restart.
