How to make Ps3 work on old tv

Hello,
I recently moved my gaming equipment to the basement so my dad can use the tv upstairs. The Tv is an RCA p46924, guide plus gold. it has no HDMI ports which, HDMI is what I was using on the other TV, but this one only ha AV ports (and a few other things I don't think are important to this) the TV works, the Ps3 works, but they just don't work together. Please help, also holding the power butting doesn't work, it just turns it off instead of doing the multi beep reset. also, if it is of any consequence, this is a Ps3 fat, not the newer model.
