                    It's impossible to speculate what is broken. either hardware or software could be at fault.  I suggest you have a local PC repair shop take a look at it.

                    Hi oluwatnmise,
Like xpcman said, there may be many reasons for this issue. If you press the power button and nothing happens and you cannot hear any noises coming from the laptop, most probably there is a power related issue. I would recommend you to disconnect power cable and battery and hold the power button for 20 seconds. Reconnect power cable and try to boot again. If the problem still persists, you should seek assistance from a technician. If laptop is under warranty, call the seller.
