Hi Etienne,
Could you please give us more details about the media player you are using? If you have a device connected to your PC and you need to move files from that device to an external drive, the transfer should be no different than moving files between any two drives. Are both devices recognized in Disk Management and in My Computer? If so, all you need to do is move the files.
