How can i format my USB DISK and its asking to be formated while its write protected

Hi Solomonsenja,
Connect your external drive and run the Command Prompt as an Administrator. Type the following command:
Diskpart
List Disk
Select disk n (n must be the drive number)
Attributes disk clear readonly
Exit
This way you should be able to clean the write protection. Open Disk Management and try to format the drive.
