                    Hello Garretthess739,
The reason that you see only the laptop manufacturer's logo is that there is most probably a problem with the operating sistem on the hard drive. Please, make sure that the hard disk is detected by the BIOS of the lappy. Next time it boots, go to the BIOS settings in the initial screen and check if the HDD is set in the first place in the boot sequence. Once you have selected this, mark Save and exit. Restart the lappy and let's see if that was the problem. :)
