Hi Eleanor McGuiness,
What I recommend you to do is to disconnect the power cable and the battery and to hold the power button for 20 seconds. If you have already tried that, try using another screen just to confirm if there is any signal on startup. If the same issue appears, I would recommend you to seek assistance from a technician.
