No Ethernet connection

Hello, I can't connect to Ethernet I moved my desk top to another room and can't get connected

Nothing happens I've already tried that it was working fine I moved it to put a carpet in and moved it back and now it won't connect I bought a new Ethernet cord as well and still won't work something vpn where it should say Ethernet in network settings
