Hard disk not recoverable

Hello,
I tried to reinstall my Windows and in the process i was asked to format my hard disk or cancel the installation. None of which i want to do. I have loads of information on the disk but i can't access it too, what do i do?_ deBoat

Well, without formatting it, there is nothing you can do. Get another disk. Build the OS on it. Place that disk behind the other one and boot it and get the data.
