My Sony Vaio won't turn on - no power, no lights at all. I tried your advise removing the battery and AC adapter then pressing and holding the power button for 20 seconds. However, still doesn't work.... Do you have any other suggestions ???

Hi
I had this problem with a Vaio too.
The battery is probably dead, and it makes or made a shunt so it won't boot with or without it. Try to take off the battery for 2 hours, it worked for me...
Does it boot without the battery but on charging ?
