Too many codes error when resetting password

Hello,

I am having major problems with logging in. I tried resetting my password with the code. I immediately got the error “you have tried too many codes, try again later” this was over a week ago. I have tried verifying my account with an ID- the link facebook sent me immediately displayed the same the error, FB also sent me a “one click log in” and the same code appeared. I waited 5 days to try again and the same thing happened. I cannot access my account and have no way to fix it. Numerous reports to Facebook with no Help.

Hi

If you are using a computer, delete all of your temporary files and cookies. Wait 24 hours and try again with the code.

Tried that and I also tried doing it from my phone with no luck. I also get another code about 3 hours after I requested one. Happpens each time.

Some users report that a 96 hour wait is necessary.
