What is the folder extension?

Hello,
I can't open the folder its says i have to choose program
what is the folder extension
plz
i have to submit it tomorrow all my work there and i didnt have any copy of it :(

note am using vista

How do we know? You need to supply more information. If the dataset was created in Word then use Word to open it.

this folder contain diffident types of files videos , pictures ,other files
when i send it to my flash that problem comes when i try to open the folder its ask me to chose a program as it come when you click open with:(
