Hello,
I have been trying to troubleshoot this problem for quite a while now. My computer will play audio through USB speakers with no problem but will not play through the normal speaker jack. I recently figured out that when I go into the control panel and look under sound there is no 'Speaker' option for me to enable and so far google search has failed me completely when it comes to getting that option back.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Trevor.

Hello,

Try this 1

Click on Start --> In search box, type mmsys.cpl and press Enter.

"Sound" options will be opened.

In playback tab --> Right-click and select the option "Show disabled devices".

If you notice the speaker icon, then right-click on it and select "Enable".

Good Luck
