Hello,

What is the make and model of your machine? Who knows it may provide a lead?

What was the error message on the blue screen?

Hi, The make is Acer Aspire 5315-2822. The error message was is, xoooooof4, 0x00000003,0x87ad4ea0,0x83640fa0. I have never had this happen before and was downloading a movie, shut down and then got the blue screen when I opened it up. I used to have windows xp on it then used windows upgrade to get windows 7. Even if I try to open with the discs no go. Maybe I have to go back and reload with Windows xp. Anyone know. Thanks for any help. The screen also says that a thread has been lost or intercepted?
