Help needed to reset ASUS notebook

Hello,

need to reset my ASUS notebook Eee series to factory setting however all intructions received are to start then press F9, that should give me the option to recover from partision. the problem is that I keep pressing f9 and nothing happens, it just starts windows as regularly.

This notebook comes without CD drive so I can not reset with a CD either.

There is more than just pressing F9
