The Samsung Galaxy Tab is one of the most popular Android based tablet computers. The hardware of the Galaxy Tab is enclosed in a plastic frame which makes it lighter compared to other metal bodied Tablets. The Samsung Galaxy Tab's hardware truly places it apart from the competition. The Galaxy Tab has a pre-installed application called My Files that allows you to create and manage folders. This application allows you to arrange the files in various applications that are installed on your Galaxy Tablet. To create a folder, go to My stuff in Applications on the Home screen. Press the Menu and select New Folder from a tree directory. Enter the name of the Folder and click Done.
My Files is an application that comes pre-installed on the Galaxy Tab, allowing you to create and manage your folders.
This application also allows you to sort files created in various applications installed on your tablet. To create a folder:
- On the Home screen, click on "Applications> My Stuff"
- A tree directory shall appear, press the "Menu" and select "New Folder" to create a folder in the root, or select an existing one to create a subfolder
- Enter a name for the folder, for example, ThinkFreeOffice to save files created with the office suite, then click "Done"
