If your computer is equipped with an Intel graphics card
, there are several actions that can be performed simply by pressing the appropriate key combination. These actions are referred to as hot keys
and include actions such as rotating your screen (using the Ctrl
+ Arrow keys
). Although this feature proves to be a time saver for many users, if you have no use for hotkeys, here is a quick way to disable it.
Disable the Hot Key Functionality on Intel Graphics
Open the Intel Graphics and Media Control Panel and right-click
on an empty area of your screen. Select Graphic properties
Next, go to the Options and Support
section > Hot Key Manager
Uncheck the box next to Hot Key Functionality
to disable the feature:
