Hello,
No warranty. Acer will not go passed the ACER Screen. Popup says "Windows could not complete installation", but clicking ok just repeats this stuck state. How can I get the computer to "release" whatever is holding it. Tried many many things. Thanks.

perhaps you can switch around the memory modules or clean the contacts.
The next step would be to replace the hard drive and install a new copy of Windows. But, that might cost more than a new laptop.
