Power saving mode

Had 10hour power cut yesterday (computer was on at time). started up when power came back on, but screen blank showing power saving mode. Switched off at wall last night, but today power saving mode on screen initially, then just goes black and nothing happens. Any suggestions what to do?

It's your monitor that is going into power saving mode when it doesn't receive a signal from the computer. I suggest you have a local PC repair shop diagnose the problem.
