Hello,
One night my computer shut down just out of the blue the next few days i noticed that when i rebooted it stayed on for a few minutes before it shut down again i go to reboot it and it wont power on for 15 minutes so i took my computer apart cleaned the inside put new thermal paste on my heatsink then it did the same thing but what doesnt make sense is that i can charge my cell still from my computer

USB charging uses 5 volts. The PC's CPU needs 12 volts to run. It's possible that the power supply is failing to provide the 12 volts. I suggest you have a local PC repair shop diagnose the problem.
Good luck
