Not booting up

Hello,
My Satellite won't boot. Running M/S 10.
It came on saying it was updating and would be done in "a few minutes". 30 minutes later it was not finished. I lost power for about 20 - 30 minutes and when the laptop came on, it didn't.
The task bar at the bottom flashes and it's not complete and the screen us completely black.

This laptop has no battery.

All Toshiba laptops have a battery.

Can you boot in safe mode with networking?

Had to do a system restart. It's working now. Thanks.
