Hey guys,
my PC was working fine and all of a sudden the system keeps freezing up (if played, sound would get stuck), the monitor (BenQ T91W) displays "No signal input", this shortly after I start up Windows XP. In safe mode it doesn't freeze, so it lead me to believe maybe the driver (for NVIDIA GeForce 6) suddenly went crazy on me and tried reinstalling it, tried both newer and older versions. No change. Only if i uninstall the driver and leave the video controller without a driver does it work. I've tried out some suggestions on this forum regarding "no signal input" but none worked, but any idea is welcome, I'd try everything out again to cover my steps, since my graphic card just went out of warranty. :(

I've noticed that if I reduce my hardware acceleration it doesn't freeze up anymore. So I installed the newest DirectX 9 and tried again with full hardware acceleration, but it still froze up. Right now I have the HW accel. reduced by a couple of lines. :( Anyone had any such problems before? Did you find out what is causing it?
