PS4 flashes blue screen

Hello fellow CCM friends,

I would appreciate anyone's help with this. While watching YouTube videos on the PS4, the screen randomly becomes blue for a second, then resumes to normal. The video output plugs into an HDMI-to-composite adapter, into an A/V selector switch box, then to an old CRT tv.

Please forgive me if I failed to locate the answer if it's already been posted.

Well, sorry to say, but you are going to have to live with the minor inconvenience. You are changing the signalling from a purely digital output, to a purely analog one! Tubes are analog, HDMI is digital!

Thanks so much for the prompt reply. I plan to buy a 32 inch LCD smart tv soon.
