Cox Com no internet connection

Cox Comm. Installed the internet but in unable to connect. It keeps giving me a yellow !. Cox also installed a home phone line however I do not even have a phone to connect to it. They had connected me to dial-up. It should have been a local are connection therefore it has confused my desktop and want connect to a valid IP address. Please Help

It looks like Cox did a poor job. You are paying for their services aren't you ?

What does Cox say about it ? Have you asked them?

That was just part of the story, he was training someone. I have talked to the 1st and 2nd level techs and all they can say is my modem is connecting. I now have 1 box for phone( that I don't have), 1 for cable and now 1 for internet in my living room. The bedroom has no cable now. And haven't bothered to call to see if it's all working. I also have no internet to my desktop and I'm not stopping til I fix it. Lol

I think that Cox should get their act together. Get tough and ask to speak to a customer service manager.
