This unit will begin to power up, heat and feel fan come on and the CD/DVD will cycle, no display ever appears on screen and it all shuts down. The power lights in front are all green.
I’ve tried the unplug, remove battery, hold power button for 30 and 60 seconds. Replace and plug and power up, nothing. Even without battery inserted, nothing. Bought a new battery, same results.

Any legitimate suggestions.

Good day,

Seems that your laptop is having a short circuit while turning on, you can try disconnecting the important components: memories, hdd, dvd, wlan/wwan, battery, ac adapter, then press the power button for 15-20 secs.

Then try to turn on the laptop without components previously mentioned IF the laptop does the same (no display on, leds on then off) it´s a Motherboard problem, if not (it is detecting that the memories are out).

You can connect component by component while trying to turn it on to see if it´s one of them that are causing the issue.

Usually the issue is related to Motherboard.
