Transcend hard drive not showing data

Hello,

I saved all my backup in my transcend external 1TB drive and i keep using the drive on regular basis but a month ago i got very busy and i kept the drive in my cupboard and today i needed something from the backup so when i attached the drive with my laptop it shows empty 931GB free of 931GB, i also checked the drive on my brother's laptop and the same result ... how can the drive is formatted on its on and where is all my data ??????

Hi,

HD's don't format themselves. You must have given the wrong command when you used month and erased the data.
