Games will not appear on main menu

Hello,

I posted previously on the forum and I am looking for help on my original problem.

I have reset my ps 3 and reset default settings. However the problem I was playing a game and I noticed the volume became very low. I turned it off and went back to playing it a few hours later.

But the game does not appear on the main menu.
I removed the disk and put it back in but any game I try never shows up on the menu so that I can play. Any ideas on the problem. Thanks
