Hello, All of a sudden after 15 years I can't log into my Yahoo email account. When I type the password I've used for all those years it says it's the wrong password. Tried at least 50 times to no avail. I tried to reset my password BUT it wants to send me a code to my old, dial-up AT&T address that I don't have anymore. Then it says it can't help when I click on "don't have that email address anymore" and just loops back. Does anyone know how to reset a password or how to change my backup email for them to send a code to? I keep going around in circles. Plus, I don't have a mobile phone that it asks for. I'm completely lost. I can't even delete that account because they have to send a code to that non-existing mailer for me to verify that I want it deleted. Thank you for any help.
If you're sure that you're entering the correct password, here are some things to check.
Otherwise, if you don't have access to your recovery methods, there is no other way to reset your password or recover your account. Sorry for the bad news.
It keeps wanting to send a verification code to my old, now non existent email address. It won't let me change where to send the code to. I did manage to get into settings/account info and add a secondary email address but it doesn't show in the window for verification purposes. It seems like nothing works. It asked for the name of my first pet. I have it written down but of course it doesn't work. What happened? I used it last night and all was well.
