I have followed the procedure to resolve the blank mail preferences, however, there is no Com.apple.mail.plist to erase.

Try to find it in:
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail/Library/Preferences

Hi,

"com.apple.mail.plist" is located in a hidden folder. Open Finder and select Go from the menu bar. Hold down the alt key and the Library folder will appear. Then in Preferences, you can deleted the file.
