Change setting in Gmail

the "Attachments" section is not found in the General tab in Gmail Setting. I want to attach file to Gmail by not using the Google Drive, but the Paperclip icon. (Basic Attachment Mode)

Hello, are you trying to do this via the desktop or mobile version?

Have a look on this Google Support page. Here is the first half of the troubleshooting tips.

*Press F5 to refresh gmail

If still no good : log out of gmail. Clear your browser's cache and cookies >> https://gmail-issues.blogspot.com/2017/08/clearing-cache.html
Update your browser to the latest version. close and re launch your browser. log into gmail here https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?service=mail&passive=true&rm=false&continue=https://mail.google.com/mail/&ss=1&scc=1<mpl=default<mplcache=2&emr=1&osid=1
If still no good : Try disabling any browser extensions and starting the browser again ( also try incognito / private browsing / safe mode / reset firefox )
Try starting GMail without any labs you might have enabled (use https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?service=mail&passive=true&rm=false&continue=https://mail.google.com/mail/?labs%3D0&scc=1<mpl=default<mplcache=2&emr=1&osid=1 to do that)

Try another browser to see if the behaviour persists

So. When you click on the paper clip what happens? I just completed attaching a file with no problems. What browser are you using?

Hi, thanks for your reply. But you misunderstood my problem. I wanted to change my Gmail setting to get back the paperclip icon, and I get into the General tab, the "Attachments" section is not found in the General tab in Gmail Setting. I want to attach file to Gmail by not using the Google Drive, but the Paperclip icon. (Basic Attachment Mode). I'm using Google Chrome.
